Shaun Chapman is a committed conservationist and the chairman and founder of RAPTOR, a non-profit anti-poaching organization and Rockyfilm Ltd., a film production company. His background is wide and varied and covers many disciplines. He is the author of the “Rocky adventure series,” the “Solar Princess series,” “James Spillaney’s Casefiles” and many other titles. “Chapman’s 2010 Theory of Alternating Crustal Displacement and the Torque Wrench Effect” is his brainchild and answers many scientific, mythological and theological questions asked by man for thousands of years. He was born in Wales. He has lived in the United States, New Zealand, Australia, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia and South Africa. He has studied a vast spectrum from psychology, geology to pure and applied mathematics. He is an exponent of many different martial arts, being a black belt in goju-ryu karate and a keen student of kendo, aikido and jeet kune do. He is focusing on a series of environmental education books and conservation material for RAPTOR and the adaptation of his stories for TV and film. He has spent many years in the Kalahari desert which led to the book ‘Blue Skies of the Kalahari’. At present he spends much time investigating poaching incidents, teaching about conservation and protecting wildlife and the environment with RAPTOR ANTI-POACHING UNIT.
